What you get to do:
This role will create and distribute delicious and refreshing drinks and food. Combine your skills as a mixologist with your natural flair for satisfying service to deliver a one-of-a-kind guest experience. You will:

Produce and serve bar drinks following recipe and presentation standards

Check IDs to ensure appropriate drinking age

Upsell premium products when appropriate

Get to know guest preferences

Monitor guest consumption of alcohol, following all company and state guidelines

Answer guest questions

Operate POS (Point of Sale) System/payment register

Keep areas clean and sanitary
-
Earn guaranteed rate if not met with tips

Work at various locations (Busch Gardens and Adventure Island), indoor and outdoor with different weather conditions.
What it takes to succeed:

At least 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Understanding of state and local beverage safety requirements

Previous bartender experience required – two years of experience preferred

Expertise with popular recipes such as margaritas, cosmopolitans, mojitos, etc.

Theme park experience serving international guests highly desirable

Background in a high-volume nightclub, bar, or restaurant a plus

Outstanding communication, customer service and cash handling skills

Food & Beverage Safety certifications

Must have basic knowledge of beer, liquor and wine

Basic food and non-alcoholic beverage knowledge

Standing for extended period of time/entire shift
