Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. The bartender will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, managing POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and delivering outstanding service to diverse clientele. A strong understanding of food safety, responsible alcohol service, and cash handling is essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
• Use POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness of the bar area at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in nightclubs, banquet events, or restaurant settings.
• Assist with catering events or special functions as needed.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods.
• Upsell beverages and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; retail math experience is beneficial.
• Experience working in nightclubs or catering environments is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
