Known for our casually sophisticated steak and seafood menu, stunning ocean views, and sleek California vibes, we serve lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch—where every visit feels like a mini vacation.

We’re currently looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and hospitality-loving Part Time Bartender to join our bar team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, oceanfront environment, love engaging with guests, and know how to pour, mix, and deliver excellence—this is your barstool.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet guests warmly and prepare handcrafted cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks to JRDN standards
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about food, beverage, and daily specials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and polished bar environment
• Check IDs and promote responsible alcohol service
• Work closely with servers and the kitchen to ensure smooth, timely service
• Enter orders accurately into POS before serving
• Follow our “two bites, two minutes” service rule to check in and ensure guest satisfaction
• Suggest and upsell desserts, pairings, and featured items
• Complete daily bar set-up, side work, and closing duties with precision and pride

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of bartending experience required
• Certifications: Valid San Diego Food Handler's Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification (or willingness to obtain them after hire with company support)
• Skills: Excellent communication, POS proficiency, and strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
• Professionalism: Positive, polished, and able to thrive in a high-volume environment
• Availability: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Bonus: Additional language skills are a plus as we have a lot of international guests!
