Tulum restaurant is now hiring a third bar tender to join our team

We are now we are starting to interview our new team members. Tulum features a modern Mexican cuisine, chef driven with an emphasis on great food, cocktails and fun costal environment.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and manage transactions.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines.
• Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including ordering when necessary.
• Provide recommendations on drink pairings and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Buss tables in the bar area as needed to maintain a tidy environment for guests.

Skills

• Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining standards and practices within the food industry.
• Excellent food handling skills with an understanding of sanitation protocols.
• Ability to engage with customers effectively, showcasing strong sales skills.
• Experience in food preparation is beneficial for assisting kitchen staff when required.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality beverage presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
