Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills and cashiering procedures
• Ensure responsible serving practices by verifying IDs and adhering to alcohol service laws
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering, banquet events, or food service operations to deliver seamless service

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments with strong customer service skills
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques in the food industry
• Ability to perform basic math quickly for billing, change calculation, and inventory management
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
• Strong communication skills to engage guests effectively and promote sales opportunities
• Background in retail math, catering, brewing or hospitality enhances your versatility in this role
