Position Title:

Bartender

Position summary:

A Bartender is responsible for providing an excellent guest experience with food, drink and service. A bartender must also act accordingly as a member of the bar team and uphold all service and hospitality standards set forth by Alter management.

Tasks:

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks.
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
  • Present and have complete knowledge of all beer, wine, cocktail and food menu items.
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience while creating guest loyalty.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
  • Perform all opening/closing procedures as set forth by Alter management.

  • Full ability to deliver on Alter standards in regards to beer, wine, cocktail and food presentation and delivery.
  • Must have working knowledge and ability to work quickly and accurately with our POS system.
  • Must have strong team skills.

  • The ability to move 150 lbs. or the weight equivalent of a full keg of beer.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
  • Must be receptive to ongoing bar-related education/training.

Experience And Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Relevant training certificates

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $900.00 - $3,400.00 per month
