Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving patrons, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Take orders from customers, providing recommendations and ensuring prompt service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred, particularly in nightclub or restaurant settings.
• Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.
• Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A willingness to help team members and contribute positively to the work environment.
