Who We Are: Living Spirits is a craft distillery dedicated to crafting a wide range of top-quality spirits that we’re proud of and that we think our community will love. Our vision is to partner with local farms and orchards to feature the deep-rooted history of distilling in New Jersey - from timeless mainstays to unique creations featuring Garden State botanicals, we’re creating the right experience (and the right cocktail) to bring that history back to life.

Where We Are: Living Spirits is located in the heart of Hackettstown, NJ, within its main street shopping and dining district. We’re perfectly situated for a night on the town, a few doors down from Hackettstown’s popular craft breweries. We host dynamic entertainment including tasting events, live music, and themed parties. We offer light bites and highlight local restaurants for guests to bring their own food. The distillery features an expansive 7,000+ sq. ft. tasting room, bar and cocktail lounge, a stylish event space and an outdoor patio with seating and fire pits.

What We’re Looking For: As a bartender & mixologist, your creative flair, energy, and passion will be central to our guests’ experience. In this part-time role, you’ll serve our customers and demonstrate strong knowledge of classic cocktails—from Old Fashioneds and Manhattans to Negronis and martinis—and how our spirits bring a unique taste to timeless favorites. We’re seeking someone who can craft memorable drinks and elevate our cocktail program with both classic and innovative recipes.

Your Responsibilities:

· Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, and beverages with precision and flair.

· Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and create a welcoming atmosphere.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and safety.

· Stay updated on the latest cocktail trends and techniques to contribute to our drink menu.

· Work closely with the Head Bartender to ensure consistency in service and uphold our craft brand’s standards

Your Skills:

· Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, cocktail-focused environment is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and mixology techniques, with a willingness to learn and grow.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

· The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· A passion for craft spirits, cocktail culture, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
