Bartender – Retro Arcade Bar (Part-Time)

The Blue Ghost Arcade is a retro gaming bar and free-play arcade located in Downtown Woodstock. We combine craft cocktails, craft beer, and classic arcade games to create a nightlife experience that’s a a little different from the typical bar scene.

We host themed events, trivia nights, karaoke, gaming leagues, and community gatherings, and we’re looking for an experienced bartender to join our team and help keep the energy high behind the bar.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time bartender position with flexible scheduling. Most shifts are evenings and weekends, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts during busy events or when the team needs extra coverage.

Typical shifts fall between 6 PM and 1 AM, depending on the night and events happening at the arcade.

This position is a great fit for bartenders looking to pick up additional shifts or work in a fun nightlife environment a few nights per week.

Pay

Base pay $6.35/hr + tips, with a guaranteed minimum of $18.65/hr including tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and other beverages quickly and accurately
• Engage with guests and help create a fun, welcoming environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
• Make drink recommendations and highlight craft beer selections
• Assist guests with gaming consoles or arcade machines when needed
• Work with the team to keep the atmosphere upbeat during events and busy nights
• Follow all alcohol service and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience in a busy bar or restaurant environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced nightlife setting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
• Night and weekend availability
• Knowledge of craft beer or cocktails is a plus
• Interest in gaming or pop culture is a bonus, but not required
