About The Fox and The Hare

The Fox and The Hare is an exciting new restaurant concept preparing to open in Detroit in the coming weeks. Our goal is to create a vibrant, welcoming space where great food, thoughtful cocktails, and exceptional service come together to create memorable guest experiences.

We are currently looking for talented and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our opening team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative, fast-paced environment and wants to be part of building a new bar program from the ground up.

The Opportunity

As a Bartender at The Fox and The Hare, you will play a key role in creating the atmosphere and guest experience at our bar. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about classic and modern cocktails, and excited to contribute ideas as we develop our beverage program.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
• Provide friendly, attentive service that creates a welcoming and memorable guest experience
• Maintain a strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine, and beer offerings
• Assist with developing and refining cocktail menus and seasonal drink specials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, garnishes, and supplies during shifts
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with local regulations
• Collaborate with servers and management to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Handle cash, POS transactions, and bar tabs accurately
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking, prep work, and cleaning

What We’re Looking For

• Previous bartending experience in restaurants, cocktail bars, or hospitality environments
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• A positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy service shifts
