Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightclub environments. As a Bartender, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events or catering services as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the food industry.
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Skills

• Proficient in Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or banquet services is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Previous experience in food service or the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Previous bartending or serving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and drink preparation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 21 years old (or per local laws)
• TABC certification (or willingness to obtain, if in Texas)
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
