Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightclub environments. As a Bartender, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events or catering services as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Skills
- Proficient in Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or banquet services is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Previous experience in food service or the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Previous bartending or serving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and drink preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years old (or per local laws)
- TABC certification (or willingness to obtain, if in Texas)
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
