Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience while adhering to all safety and health regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in catering events when required, providing beverage service to guests in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and new products to effectively communicate with customers.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Proficiency in cash handling, including experience with cash registers or POS systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash management.
• Knowledge of various drink recipes and bartending techniques is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
