Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
  • Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations.
  • Assist with food service when necessary, including serving appetizers or snacks that complement beverage offerings.
  • Keep track of inventory levels, restock supplies promptly, and communicate needs to management for efficient operations.

Experience

  • Prior experience working as a bartender in high volume settings is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS or Toast is essential for smooth transaction processing.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety at all times.
  • Experience in catering or food industry environments that require quick thinking and excellent time management skills.
  • Familiarity with retail math, cash handling, and basic math principles necessary for accurate billing and sales tracking.
