Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal alcohol service regulations
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
• Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills while managing credit card payments and receipts
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery in fine dining or nightclub settings

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service background with the ability to engage diverse patrons confidently
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Experience with retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions
• Prior exposure to food industry settings including catering or food service environments enhances your adaptability
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality
