Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft memorable experiences by mixing and serving beverages with precision and flair, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment, you will be the face of our establishment’s social experience, delivering exceptional service while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change distribution.
  • Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service in line with legal requirements.
  • Restock bar supplies, ingredients, and glassware to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions.
  • Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and responsible serving practices across all hospitality settings including nightclubs and restaurants.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing accuracy.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event shifts such as banquets or catering functions.
