Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and the ability to manage time effectively while ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while serving food and beverages.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures effectively.
• Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar or dining area.
• Stay informed about new products, trends in the beverage industry, and menu changes.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending or related roles within the food service or hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Fine dining experience is a plus, as well as knowledge of cocktail recipes and brewing techniques.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to serving alcohol and food items.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.90 - $25.17 per hour
