Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join Allure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and manage transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
• Assist in organizing special events as needed, contributing to a seamless experience for guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a bartender is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of retail math for managing cash register operations accurately.
• Experience in brewing or knowledge of various drink recipes is advantageous.
• Food handling certification is preferred but can be obtained upon hiring.
