Bartender

This position receives a % of drinks sales from the sales floor as well as receiving a bar section, in addition to the hourly wage.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to build rapport and enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and policies.
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, promoting sales while providing detailed product knowledge.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end with basic math skills and retail math proficiency.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in fine dining establishments or nightclubs is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for smooth operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, alcohol laws, and responsible serving practices is required.

Pay: $7.25 - $9.00 per hour
