Bartender

Morehead City’s newest coastal fine dining restaurant is pursuing individuals to join our team. Filet ‘n’ Fin, a new restaurant with prime location and major storefront visibility in Morehead City, NC, is seeking an enthusiastic bartender to prepare craft cocktails and serve guests.

We are looking for a Part Time Bartender at Filet 'n' Fin. With option to expand to full time hours at Filet 'n' Fin or our sister restaurant, On The Rocks. Bartenders must be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding the customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly and tips.

Bartenders are scheduled to come in between 30 minutes to an hour before opening to make sure everything is clean, bar is set up, and all prerequisites are done and approximately 30 minutes to an hour after closing to make sure bar is clean, stocked and ready for the next day.

Previous bartending experience in an upscale environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Resume with proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
