Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with patrons, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management, sales skills, and food safety knowledge to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS system.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
• Restock supplies as needed, ensuring all beverages are properly stored and labeled.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service during catering or banquet events when applicable.
• Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets when working them.
• Uphold health and safety standards at all times to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.

Experience

• Previous experience in social flu or hospitality industry helpful.
• Familiarity with POS and ticket systems.
• Proven ability in cash handling, cashiering, and retail math calculations.
• Experience working in the bar atmosphere with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Excellent time management skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.
