Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and safety standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and sales recording.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills, ensuring all guests receive attentive service.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement responsible serving practices.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure seamless service throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet events to deliver exceptional service in diverse settings.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by engaging with guests positively and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation techniques, POS operation, and customer service expectations when needed.

Experience
Candidates should possess previous restaurant or food service experience with a focus on bartending—preferably within fine dining establishments or nightclubs—and demonstrate familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Experience working at banquets or catering events is highly valued. Strong skills in sales techniques, basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations, as well as excellent customer service abilities are essential for success in this role. Prior experience in the food industry with knowledge of food safety standards is preferred. Candidates should have effective time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere. A background in brewing or hospitality combined with serving or cashiering experience will be considered advantageous.
