Bartender

Local Beer Patio and Kitchen is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and charismatic bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while crafting delicious beverages in a lively environment. You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring they receive high-quality drinks and attentive service.

Local Beer, Patio and Kitchen offers an extensive selection of Nebraska craft beer with an elevated food menu. We are currently hiring for both part-time and full-time positions.

Our bartenders average $20-$50/hour in tips and wages! Business is booming and we are looking for motivated team members! We require at least one year of serving experience and craft beer knowledge is a plus. Weekend availability is required. Additionally we need someone who is open to work Mondays and Fridays.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and process payments efficiently.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks during busy periods.
• Uphold fine dining standards by providing attentive service and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is beneficial.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
