Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and building rapport
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently to keep pace during busy hours
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including billing, tipping, and balancing cash drawers at shift end

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food handling and food safety standards
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and retail math is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests warmly and professionally
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including brewing methods for craft beers or specialty drinks
• Ability to handle cash handling accurately while managing sales transactions efficiently
• Experience with catering events or large banquet functions is advantageous for supporting diverse service needs
