Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming environment
• Manage multiple drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware regularly to ensure smooth service flow
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while providing attentive customer service
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote safety

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math, and drink measurements accurately
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is a plus but not required
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
