Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and related products.
- Manage cash handling duties accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings, while providing excellent customer service.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including alcohol, garnishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy hours.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service with a friendly attitude and effective communication skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales tracking, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
