Bartender

Come join the team at St. Davids Golf Club! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced bartender to join our team.

As a member of our team, you will receive a starting wage of at least $18-20/hour based on your experience. We value our team and want to help you succeed in your career. In addition, employees have access to free golf on Mondays when the club is closed.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the club industry is preferred but not required.

Member Service & Hospitality

• Greet members and guests promptly and professionally
• Build positive relationships with members and learn beverage preferences
• Provide attentive, unhurried, and personalized service
• Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming bar environment

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards
• Maintain consistency in drink recipes, presentation, and portion control
• Serve beverages in dining rooms, bars, outdoor areas, and at club events as assigned
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices at all times

Bar Operations & Standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, coolers, and storage
• Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and restocking
• Accurately enter orders and process transactions through the POS system
• Handle glassware, equipment, and club property with care

Teamwork & Support

• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management
• Support tournaments, banquets, and special events
• Follow all club policies, service procedures, and grooming standards

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Comply with state and local alcohol laws and club policies

Qualifications and Skills:

• Prior bartending experience preferred; private club or upscale hospitality experience a plus
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a service environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be RAMP certified or willing to receive certification within 2 weeks of hire

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs (kegs, cases, ice)
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a service environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
