Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service for food orders.
• Assist in catering events or banquets as required, providing exceptional service in various settings.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Proficient in basic math for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus.
