Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Toast for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to meet customer demand without delay.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift using retail math skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service, preferably with fine dining or nightclub background.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests warmly.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations.
