Bartender

We are seeking awesome bartenders who have been told they carry energy into the room when they walk in and that always have regulars follow them to their new place of work because of their ability to make friends and manage to both run a well and make customers feel great simultaneously.

Western Collective is a brewery + distillery in Garden City and now has a liquor license, so full bartending experience is preffered.

```Duties```
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Clean and sanitize bar area, including utensils and equipment
- Maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of ingredients and supplies
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints

```Skills```
- Banquet experience: Ability to handle large events and cater to a diverse group of customers
- Brewing knowledge: Familiarity with different types of beers, wines, and spirits
- Food handling: Understanding of proper food safety procedures when preparing garnishes or serving food alongside drinks
- Food service: Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, providing prompt and efficient service to customers
- Food safety: Knowledge of safe food handling practices to prevent cross-contamination or foodborne illnesses
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple orders simultaneously, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Retail math: Basic understanding of calculations related to pricing, discounts, and sales transactions
- Basic math skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for measuring ingredients, calculating bills, and making change for customers
- Cash handling: Experience in accurately handling cash transactions, including counting money, giving correct change, and processing credit card payments
- Bartending expertise: Proficient in mixing cocktails, creating signature drinks, and using various bartending techniques
