Role Overview

Z Tiki Kava Bar is a vibrant social hub where music and community shape the entire atmosphere. Designed as a laid-back yet energizing space, it brings people together through rhythm, connection, and shared experiences. We offer kava, botanical teas, specialty mocktails, hookahs, and other beverages that complement a culture of creativity, relaxation, and meaningful social interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve kava, botanical teas, specialty coffee, and other menu offerings
• Set up, maintain, and serve hookahs in accordance with safety and cleanliness
• standards
• Educate guests on menu items, ingredients, effects, and flavor profiles
• Create a warm, inclusive, and community-oriented atmosphere
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and lounge areas
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory management
• Support events, workshops, and community gatherings as needed
• Uphold house culture, values, and guest experience standards

Ideal Candidate

• Friendly, grounded, and confident in social settings
• Passionate about wellness, creativity, and community spaces
• Required experience in bartending, additional experience in café service, tea/kava bars,
• or hookah lounges preferred (training available)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working with artists, entrepreneurs, and remote professionals
• Able to multitask and stay calm in a dynamic environment
• Must be dependable and punctualBonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of kava, herbalism, adaptogens, or functional beverages
• Coffee or barista experience
• Hookah preparation experience
• Event hosting or community-building experience
• Mixology experience

Pay: $12.00 - $24.68 per hour
