Big-Dill Hospitality is a family-owned restaurant group that owns and operates Muchacho Tex-Mex, Whistle Britches, Even Coast, Casa Brasa, Kamilla and many more unique and fantastic dining concepts coming soon in the DFW area. Helmed by Chef Omar Flores, a two-time James Beard Semi-Finalist, Best Chef SW and Dallas Rising Star Chef, this is Chef Flores’ newest passion project several years in the making. This scratch kitchen concept prides itself on its innovative menu and modern approach to the bar scene, happy hour, and brunch.

Position Overview:

At Maroma Coastal Mexican, soon to open, our bartenders are more than drink makers—they’re the heartbeat of the guest experience. This role is responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, providing warm and attentive service, and creating an inviting atmosphere at the bar. As a Bartender, you’ll play a key role in ensuring each guest feels welcomed, valued, and eager to return.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide excellent guest drinking experience. Joining our team as a Bartender offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills, engage with diverse customers, and contribute to a vibrant dining experience. Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years of server experience in an upscale or fine-dining high volume establishment
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Presents a positive and professional attitude toward guests and staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
  • TABC and Food Handler Certification

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in a standing position for 8-10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift 60lbs (50lbs overhead)
  • Stand for a long period of time.
  • Be able to kneel, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, push, pull and grasp throughout the day.
  • Hearing and communicating in person or over telephone.
