Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking drink orders and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing payments swiftly and accurately.
• Monitor guest behavior in nightlife or nightclub settings to ensure safety and responsible serving practices.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
• Assist with catering or banquet events by serving drinks at large functions while maintaining high-quality customer service standards.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service abilities to create welcoming environments for diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
• Experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is preferred.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
