Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Bartender, where your energy and passion for service will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will craft and serve beverages, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your expertise in food and beverage presentation, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help foster a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet event, you’ll be the heart of the bar experience, managing multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
  • Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, addressing their preferences and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to process transactions smoothly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures during serving and bartending activities.
  • Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
  • Monitor beverage stock levels, restock supplies, and assist in inventory management to keep the bar well-equipped.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote a safe environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; prior cashiering or retail math skills are advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy shifts.
  • Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest interactions.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special events like banquets or large catering functions.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory tracking; brewing or food industry knowledge is a plus. Pay: $5.00 - $8.00 per hour
