Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Aloha POS
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all food safety regulations and alcohol service laws.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during banquets or catering events, ensuring seamless coordination.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements.
• Experience with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws.
• Skilled in sales techniques to upsell drinks and promote special offerings effectively.
