Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or credit transactions securely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while providing excellent customer service
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and other essentials promptly to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering or banquet services, ensuring seamless service delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining, nightclub, or banquet setting; retail math and basic math skills are essential for cash handling and sales calculations
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations; experience in brewing or the food industry is a plus
• Familiarity with serving in hospitality settings that require catering or banquet experience; night club experience is advantageous
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales transactions and inventory management
