We are seeking a Server who can Bartend, someone who:
- Truly enjoys creating a positive guest experience
- Loves making guests feel welcome and can build loyalty
- Has experience in up-scale restaurants
- Welcomes each customer as if they were guests at their own home, echoing mi casa es su casa (my home is your home)
- Greets guests with a smile without encouragement and wears the smile as part of the uniform
- Shows guests to their seats
- Feels confident and secure enough to handle even the most challenging guests with poise and excellent service or knows when to request assistance
- Learns and understand Acopio's menu in detail to educate guests, advise and answer questions on the food and drink choices
- Can take orders via the point-of-sale ticketing system
- Observes the expediting station and pacing and can anticipate guests' needs
- Attends to the tables, takes orders, and delivers orders deftly and accurately
- Checks on the quality of the serving and plating of food
- Busses, cleans, and resets tables
- Is passionate about spirits
- Is capable of maintaining Acopio's brand of alcoholic and non-alcoholic craft drinks
- Is informed on Mezcal, Tequila, liquors, wine and beer
- Knows classics cocktails
- Barbacks, preps, and create prep lists
- Knows mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Can stock, replenish, and maintain bar inventory and create an order list
- Keeps the bar organized and clean,
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks
- Is not above any task in the scope of our space and is willing to go above and beyond
- Is generally in a happy state of mind and wants to create great results
- Takes direction well and works well in a structured environment
- Looks to work with a tight-knit team and wants to contribute positively
- Is well groomed and clean; presentation-wise, wears professional attire that is clean and well-pressed
- Is detail-oriented and eager to take on more responsibilities if needed
- Values excellence and creativity
- Is a reliable, timely, and committed the scheduled work week
- Has in-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices, upselling, hospitality, service, etc.…
- Has excellent attitude, communication, and organizational skills (non-negotiable)

- Attends employee meetings, participates, and offers suggestions for improvement.
- Food Safety training and Responsible Beverage Service - RBS certification(required)
- complies with all food and beverage regulations
- Spanish is a plus but not necessary

Availability: Part-Time, Evenings Wednesday-Saturday and Sunday brunch starting in April 2029
Pay: $19-$22/hour depending on experience plus tips
