Bartender Front of House Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team in our medium-paced made to order kitchen and bar environment. Almost two years open, we are looking for the ideal candidate to have a passion for mixology and understand different wines and how to match their corresponding meals . The experience we need is someone who understands how to recommend our great food, plus upsell wines, mixed drinks, and beers all in a fun and informative way. As a Front of House Bartender Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. While also serving, we need the same experience level so you do not simply take orders, but are knowledgable to recommend items and specials we are promoting. Your ability to engage with customers while working efficiently under pressure will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. A Great full-time bartender Manager can make $800-$100 weekly in tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, recommending foods and wines while taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, plus a few other cleaning tasks each day to maintain a great atmosphere..
• Operate the POS system accurately for order processing and payment transactions.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for guests at the bar as well as in the dining area.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Never overserve!
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or related roles within the food industry is preferred.
• Overseeing other bartenders to become more knowledgeable on recommendations and upsells each shift.
• Experience working in wine bars or restaurants is a plus.
• Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Toast or similar platforms.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and beverage trends is advantageous.

Pay: $17.22 - $22.00 per hour
