The Bartender is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at the bar as well as providing beverages to servers at the service bar station; beverages are to be prepared and served in accordance with Company standards and in a professional and courteous manner.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides friendly and attentive service to bar guests following Company standards.

Prepares beverages for servers (if working service bar) to serve to guests.

Sets up and maintains bar so that it is stocked with materials/products to provide prompt and efficient service to guests (liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, condiments, garnishes, cocktail straws, napkins, menus, etc.).

Has complete knowledge of the food and beverage menus, liquor, beer, wine and recipes to make recommendations, prepare drinks, and answer questions.

Assists management with inventory as needed.

Verifies identification for all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be under the age of 30. Involves Management when questions of validity apply.

Cleans glassware and bar utensils through the operation and maintenance of the glass washer.

Monitors and adjusts TVs, music and lights in the bar as needed.

Ensures compliance with LSF safety and sanitation standards (proper footwear, personal protective equipment, ice scoop, floors mats, and glass only receptacle).

Contributes to the overall cleanliness and the organized appearance of the bar.

Continually clears away unwanted dishes, glasses, and debris from bar top.

Utilizes the POS properly to ensure Guests requests are fulfilled and properly accounted for; presents Guest with accurate check.

Other duties as determined by management.
- High school diploma, equivalency degree.

Prior experience preferred.

Must be able to complete certification requirements for Serv-Safe
- Outgoing, friendly demeanor.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting.

Ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
Has complete knowledge of the menu, liquor, beer, wine and recipes.
