Job Overview:

Here’s your opportunity to join Roxy Cinema under Dubai Holding Entertainment as a Bartender . In this role, you will prepare and serve a variety of beverages at the Terrace Lounge/Bar while delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. You will also ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and operates efficiently by following the Sequence of Service and F&B SOP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails.
• Garnish drinks appropriately and ensure they are presented attractively.

Customer Interaction:

• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues promptly and courteously.
• Promote and upsell specialty drinks, seasonal cocktails, and food items.

Bar Maintenance:

• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any supply needs to the manager.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date temperature records for all fridge units within the bar whilst on duty.

Cash Handling:

• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing procedures.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in training new bar staff when necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Event Support:

• Assist in the preparation and execution of special events, promotions, and themed nights at the lounge/bar.
• Provide input on new drink recipes and promotions to enhance the guest experience.

About You:

• High School Certificate or equivalent certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Bartending (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end bar, lounge, or restaurant; experience in a cinema or entertainment venue is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Excellent communication, guest service, and multitasking skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance with attention to detail and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
