Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take accurate orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently with cash handling and cashiering skills.
- Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly manner, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and organization skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding beverage preparation techniques like brewing.
