Bartender + Server

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, using POS systems such as Toast POS.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly, attentive customer service.
• Serve food and beverages to guests at the bar or tables, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Engage with guests to promote sales of menu items and specials while fostering a welcoming environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles; fine dining or previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for order entry and payment processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle inquiries gracefully.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and accurate order calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
