Bartender / server

We are seeking an experienced bartender and a server to join our team at Blue Highway a pizzeria. We are located in the upscale neighborhood, Town of Tioga. Many of our guests are regulars and often, they know each other. We are a high volume restaurant with no late nights. We are looking for a bartender that honors the craft of making cocktails. We do all of our own juicing and make most syrups. Servers must have a passion for food and hospitality. We are all one team. We have a supportive work environment and avoid drama as much as possible. We do not do FOH/HOH conflict.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Prep fruit, juices, syrups and sangria.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a bartender.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a passion for service.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Has a knowledge of classic cocktails.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
