Job Overview
This is a unique and lucrative opportunity for a great bartender! My bartenders stay with us because of the chill environment, great tips. Hundreds of regular customers that come in one to three times a week. At a Billiards ​Room, players stay for HOURS! BIG TAB=BIG TIPS!! The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional customer service, and efficiently managing bar operations. Prior experience in the food and beverage industry. If you have a passion for hospitality and thrive in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Engage with customers to provide a memorable experience, get to know our regular customer base. There are hundreds and represent over 80% of our customer base!
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha or Micros
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service
• Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed during shifts
• Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible beverage service policies

Skills

• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems including Cake (ideal)
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Experience serving in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills or tips
• Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required in hospitality environments
• Experience with brewing, catering, or retail math is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
