Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Square POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, payments, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during high-energy nights at nightclubs or large events like banquets or catering functions.
• Upsell drink options to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service.
• Keep accurate records of transactions, inventory levels, and shift reports to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Square POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests confidently.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math skills for accurate cashiering, retail math calculations, and measuring drink ingredients.
• Experience with serving at catering events or in the food industry is highly desirable.
