Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
• Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods such as banquets or catering events.
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality service.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Strong knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings is a plus.
• Experience in the food industry or retail math is beneficial for managing transactions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service are required.
