Bartender/Server

Branches Tasting Room is a neighborhood-focused bar and tasting room built around thoughtful drinks, welcoming hospitality, and genuine connection. We focus on wine, craft cocktails, and simple plates served in a warm, relaxed environment. Our team operates with a shared mindset: consistency, curiosity, and care for our guests.

This is a hybrid bartender/server role, meaning every team member contributes behind the bar and on the floor. We value people who enjoy engaging with guests, learning flavors, and creating a comfortable, confident experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wine, beer, and craft cocktails consistently and accurately
• Take food and drink orders and provide attentive table service
• Guide guests through the menu by describing flavors, styles, and pairings
• Help guests feel confident ordering—no upselling pressure, just good guidance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, service areas, and tables
• Follow all alcohol safety, cleanliness, and cash-handling procedures
• Work collaboratively in a tip-pool environment
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work as assigned
• Represent the Branches brand with professionalism, warmth, and integrity

What We’re Looking For

• Prior bartending and/or serving experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Willingness to learn wine, cocktails, and menu knowledge
• Comfortable talking about flavors and making recommendations
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain required ABC certifications
