Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, accurately, and with flair, ensuring adherence to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Take food and drink orders from guests using POS system
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations throughout your shift
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments using POS systems
• Assist in setting up for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all food handling and serving standards are met
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills while maintaining a friendly demeanor

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
• Experience working with alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service practices
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that energizes team interactions

Pay: $8.00 - $30.00 per hour
