Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed, valued, and eager to return. Whether mixing drinks, serving food, or engaging with patrons, you’ll play a key role in delivering a top-tier hospitality experience that keeps our guests coming back for more.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills.
  • Provide attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management while ensuring prompt service.
  • Assist in setting up banquet or catering events, including serving food and beverages in a professional manner.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, monitor guest consumption, and intervene as necessary to promote safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere suitable for nightclubs or casual dining settings.
  • Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and tips.

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a bartender or server in fine dining establishments or casual restaurants is highly preferred.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is required to ensure guest safety.
  • Prior experience in nightclub or banquet settings is advantageous for managing high-volume service environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with retail math for cash handling and billing accuracy is necessary.
