BCM Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead and support end-to-end delivery of BC, CM, and ITDR projects aligned to ISO 22301, NCEMA 7000:2021, and global best practices .
  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) , Risk Assessments , and develop BC strategies, frameworks, and plans.
  • Facilitate client workshops, interviews, and tabletop exercises to validate strategies and enhance preparedness.
  • Support IT teams in aligning BC with Disaster Recovery (DR) and technology resilience plans .
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and documentation tailored to client requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables are submitted within agreed timelines and budget.

Business Development Support

  • Contribute to RFP/RFQ responses , proposals, and capability statements.
  • Develop presentations and client pitches in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Support creation of marketing collateral, thought leadership articles, and industry insights .
  • Assist in expanding client relationships by identifying new opportunities during project delivery.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Risk Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity, Risk Management, or Consulting .
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 22301, NCEMA, ITIL, and crisis management frameworks .
  • Prior experience in a consulting/advisory firm is highly desirable.
  • Certifications such as CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, PMP, or ITDR-related certifications are an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working both independently and in teams.
  • Strong business acumen to support BD activities and identify growth opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) ; knowledge of BCM software/tools is a plus.
