BD Expert

Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven BD Expert who specializes in Upwork bidding and client acquisition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, submitting winning proposals, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms
• Write customized, high-converting proposals to secure projects
• Analyze client requirements and craft tailored solutions
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and close deals
• Maintain a pipeline of leads and track bidding performance
• Follow up with potential clients and maintain long-term relationships
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Achieve monthly sales and conversion targets

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Upwork bidding / freelancing platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write persuasive proposals
• Understanding of IT services, digital marketing, or software development (preferred)
• Knowledge of lead generation and client handling
• Self-motivated with strong negotiation skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working with international clients (UK/US market preferred)
• Familiarity with CRM tools and proposal tracking
• Basic understanding of project estimation and pricing

KPIs / Performance Metrics:

• Number of bids submitted daily/weekly
• Conversion rate (bids to projects won)
• Revenue generated
• Client retention rate
